You can grow chaga yourself with plug spawn for Inonotus Obluquus, also known as birch weather mushroom. Chaga is a fungus that mainly grows on birches. This woody mushroom has been immensely popular in Asia for centuries and finds its applications mainly within Eastern medicine. In addition, it is an important ingredient of our Mushroom Coffee with Chaga and Cordyceps!
Chaga is a rare fungus, because it does not easily spread naturally. It is therefore a precious mushroom with a high kilo price, but with these plug spawn or dowels for Chaga you grow them from now on! We recommend using the wood plugs as soon as possible after delivery. The best time to vaccinate trees or tree trunks between May and October, with 5 plugs per tree (tribe) recommended with an intermediate distance of 50 cm.
