Plug spawn for Nameko

You can cultivate Nameko with plug spawn for Pholiota Nameko, better known as the Japanese bundle mushroom. Nameko is a very popular mushroom species in Japan where they are used in traditional dishes such as Miso and Nabemono.

Nameko is doing excellent on deciduous wood such as oak, beech, chestnut, maple, poplar and alder. We recommend using the spawn plug as soon as possible after delivery. The best time to vaccinate trees or tree trunks is between February and mid -April, with the plugs being applied with an intervening distance of 10 cm. The birch wood mycelium plugs for Nameko are manufactured in a sterile laboratory and are extremely suitable for starting the breeding of sulfur mushroom itself. The wood plugs for sulfur mushroom are supplied per amount ordered in a sterile filter bag.
